About Us

What is Tisha's Bag?

The name is derived from the middle name of the founder and her entrepreneurial spirit to "get to the bag". Tisha’s Bag was an online clothing boutique ideated with the intention of adding a new stream of income that simultaneously fueled the passion of its founder, Shovonté Hope.

During her first year as a brand new online clothing boutique owner in the face of a pandemic and racially charged tragedies, the initiative quickly turned into one that focused on building collective, community, and resource sharing for underserved creatives and business owners. It was extremely evident that this community of underserved creatives and business owners were being left out of the profit their creative prowess was accruing through social media networks.

Helping business owners and creatives stamp their brands through personal style and fashion is what keeps Tisha’s Bag Inc. business and platform thriving until this day.

With an aim to share resources that help build businesses and their brands, such as pop up shops and weekly small business highlights on IG LIVE, Tisha’s Bag became a community for creatives and entrepreneurs. The online boutique also served as a hub to find one of a kind high quality statement pieces to add to wardrobes.
